Drake just can’t seem to catch a break these days!

Drake, often known as "Champagne Papi," has now been dubbed "Hookah Papi" following his latest Instagram Story. On Wednesday, June 27, the 'Rich Baby Daddy' rapper shared a new selfie, showing him enjoying some hookah in a relaxed setting.

This post comes only weeks after Drake went viral for showcasing a new Caribbean accent on a remix track. As The Shade Room previously reported, Drizzy collaborated with fellow Canadian artist Snowd4y on ‘Wah Gwan Delilah,’ a spin on Plain White T’s hit song, ‘Hey There Delilah.’

The four-minute track, released on June 5, was heavily promoted by Snowd4y on his Instagram page. Drake also shared the love, posting about the track on his Story with the caption, “@Snowd4y wake up the city,” along with laughing and exhaling emojis.

Social Media Reacts to Drake's Latest Photo

Social media users quickly reacted to Drake’s new photo, flooding The Shade Room's comments with mixed feelings. Many quoted lyrics from Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, 'Not Like Us,' while others suggested that Drake hasn’t recovered since his feud with Kendrick.

Another user, @rashadj359, added, “Kendrick put him back in his place. No more thug talk. Just zesty, light-skinned activities.”

User @tattoomanpaige remarked, “Drake doing this to himself at this point.”

Meanwhile, @nyasiasimah said, “Drake really one of the girls for real.”

Lastly, @anotherdaywithendy_ questioned, “What is it? The BRAIDS?”

**Kendrick Lamar Takes Aim at Drake During Juneteenth Concert**

Drake's name has remained in the spotlight, partly due to Kendrick Lamar's Juneteenth 'Pop Out' concert. The event, which featured appearances from celebrities like LeBron James and Russell Westbrook, quickly went viral.

The iconic three-hour concert included performances by Dr. Dre, Tyler The Creator, Dom Kennedy, Ty Dolla $ign, Roddy Rich, YG, DJ Mustard & Friends, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Steve Lacy, and Ab-Soul.

However, the highlight of the night was Kendrick performing his hit song 'Not Like Us' five times. The track, a DJ Mustard-produced diss aimed at Drake, has become a certified anthem since its release on May 4, just hours after Kendrick dropped his third song, ‘Meet The Grahams.’

'Not Like Us' has taken the world by storm, with social media users continually quoting its lyrics.

Camila Cabello has addressed the recent wave of “frustrating” slander directed at Drake.

The former Fifth Harmony member commented on the allegations against the Canadian rapper, who is currently embroiled in a public feud with Kendrick Lamar.

The pair have recently exchanged barbs, with Lamar accusing Drake of being a “certified pedophile” and Drake retaliating by criticizing Lamar’s partner, saying, “You the black messiah wifing up a mixed queen.”

Cabello, who recently collaborated with Drake on her new album ‘C,XOXO,’ where he is featured on two tracks, shared her thoughts on the situation.

In an interview with The Times, she described Drake as “such a delight” and expressed her frustration over the negative discourse surrounding him.

“It’s so frustrating to see people talk about someone you know in a way that is negative. You’re like, ‘Dang, if only you guys could just have dinner or something.’”

The singer also opened up about how she snagged Drake as a collaborator, recalling that she slid into his DMs without expecting him to reply.

“It’s like a weird teenage thing where I feel that nobody cares about me or likes me,” she continued. “And it was fun to be proven wrong.”

In our three-star review of ‘C,XOXO’, NME wrote: “Still, whether you think Cabello is “that girl” or not, there’s no denying that ‘C,XOXO’ is packed with quirky earworms: she even blends emo and reggaeton on the brilliant, melancholy club banger ‘Pretty When I Cry’.

“Some of 2024’s most anticipated pop albums have sunk pretty fast after hyped roll-outs; this one deserves to keep bubbling to the surface for months to come.”
